The 25-year-old girlfriend of Real Madrid footballer Cristiano Ronaldo recently posed in a range of stunning wedding dresses.
Featuring in designer Dany Mizrachi's Haute Couture 2011 collection, the garments combine high fashion with bridal comfort. When combined with luxury chair covers, organza fabrics and fairytale backdrops, you can imagine how stunning the dresses would look.
A piece in the Daily Mail stated that Irina looked “absolutely gorgeous” in the dresses. It described the “detailed corsets”, “big corsages” and “nipped in waists” that characterise the gowns.
“Some of the lacy designs have slightly transparent skirts that show off Irina's enviable legs,” the piece continued.
Furthermore, the dresses may appeal to brides looking to “make a big statement”. It's little wonder Irina was named Best International Model of 2010 by Glamour Spain.
The dresses take their cue from a variety of historical themes, from ancient Greek dress codes to 1980s-era style. In fact, it's worth remembering that couples can establish a theme for their wedding accessories and décor. A 1960s theme, for instance, can feature a smattering of daisies and chrysanthemums alongside white cotton chair covers.
Dany Mizrachi chose to carry out the photo shoot in a desert, with the arid backdrop helping to bring the best out of the white fabrics. Indeed, when organising a wedding, it's fair to say that an effective colour scheme is just as important as the garment itself.
